Foundation of Tactical Rifle/Pistol Course

This course is designed to expand on basic foundations of proper shooting mechanics for the modern shooter. Each course of fire is designed to test, build, and prove proper marksmanship techniques designed for professionals and amateurs alike. We will measure factors such as speed, accuracy, acceptable sight picture, loadout limitations/considerations, fitness and information processing.

Northern Shrike IPE Course

I.P.E. (Impact. Point. and Edge) Bridging the gap between EDC and fabrication, I.P.E. teaches an individual how to source tools from an open environment.

The goal of I.P.E is to ensure that responsible citizens, without their standard kit, can fabricate, use, and understand the tools that criminals may leverage against them. With a focus on edged, pointed, and impact tool,  ranging from commercially available to homemade.

Including: materials, sources, pitfalls, impacts, techniques, carry methods, and effectiveness of these tools against aggressors.

PPE Ear, Eyes and Gloves

Properly functioning rifle and pistol

500 rounds of rifle

6 minimum rifle mags

250 rounds of pistol

3 minimum pistol

Appropriate pistol holster (Conceal carry is not permitted at this time)

Rifle sling

Ability to safely carry minimum 3x rifle and 2x pistol mags on person

Food/Water

Weather appropriate clothing

Students will spend 3 hours learning from Lam Solutions and 3 hours with Northern Strike.

Course is not refundable but is transferable from person to person for the same course and not exchangeable for future courses/events.

This class will proceed though Rain, Sleet, or Snow.

A warming area will be set up for the Range portion of the course, please dress appropriately in layers for the weather.
